Now Available on TuneIn Radio!

Just received word from my (new) friend Shannon over at TuneIn Radio that Supernatural Science has been included in their podcast directory (site is here)! Now, we will be listed among famous radio stations, like Radio Margaritaville and the Ryan Seacrest American Top 40! I’m honored to be considered worthy enough to be included among these highly established terrestrial stations!

So that makes TuneIn, SoundCloud, Spreaker, Podcast Garden, and DoubleTwist. With so many ways to subscribe, what are you waiting for? Also, be sure to fill out our audience survey. You can do so anonymously!

Just Received iTunes Approval!

You heard that right, folks! I just received an email from iTunes today, telling me that Supernatural Science will now be listed amongst some of the greatest podcasts in the history of the Internet in the iTunes Store!

iTunes will be just one place that you will be able to subscribe to us. As mentioned before, you can download episodes on SoundCloud, Spreaker, Podcast Garden, and in the Stitcher Radio mobile app. You can also find us on the DoubleTwist Android app. We’ve also submitted the podcast to the popular radio app TuneIn and, after five episodes, we will be submitting the show to iHeartRadio as well.

With so many places to download, why wait to get in on the fun? Go to the one of the above mentioned Web sites and download today! Also, don’t forget to fill out our audience survey at Podtrac!

Now Available on Stitcher Radio, SoundCloud, and Spreaker!

Now that we have the first episode released, we thought it was time to submit it to podcast directories so you, the podcast listener, can find it easier. That’s why we have partnered with Stitcher Radio and Spreaker to bring you this amazing podcast.

What this means is that Supernatural Science has now entered the world of mobile, streaming podcasts. All you have to do is download the Stitcher app from either the Google Play or iTunes store, search for “Supernatural Science with Thomas Ward”, click the appropriate feed, and click “Play Episode”. That’s it! Now you can take me with you anywhere you go!

All you have to do with Spreaker (which will allow me to apply for iHeartRadio after five episodes) is go to our Spreaker site and click Play. Same with our SoundCloud page.

We are also awaiting approval from the iTunes Store and TuneIn Radio, as well as a host of other podcast directories. Hopefully soon, you’ll be able to get Supernatural Science, no matter what service you use! Fingers crossed!

Episode #1: “Behind Black Eyes”

In this, our premiere episode, we discuss the “Black Eyed Kids” phenomenon that first began circling the Internet back in 1996. Thomas’s hypothesis is that a combination of eye diseases would explain the black coloration of the eyes. Runtime:  08m04s

Fill Out Our Listener Survey!

Even though we have yet to begin releasing episodes, we are already interested in what you have to say about the general concept of the podcast. This will help us determine what format the show should presented in, who exactly will be listening to a show like ours, etc. So, if you have a minute and would like to help us out, you can do so by filling out our Audience Survey at http://bit.ly/supscipodcast. Thanks in advance and we can’t wait for the world premiere of Supernatural Science on … you guessed it … Halloween night.

Supernatural Science on TWiT: October 11, 2014

Update: I was unable to make my appearance on the Giz Fiz show. I will attempt to be the guest next Saturday at the same time. Be sure to stop by TWiT Live and see me!

So this is it. My firs ever post on the brand new Supernatural Science blog. Where do I begin? Perhaps the best way is to let you know where I’m going to be this coming Saturday evening around 5 PM Eastern Daylight Time. I’m going to be a guest of the one and only Dick DeBartolo (who, if you don’t know, is a writer for one of my favorite childhood magazines, MAD, and he was also a writer on the original Match Game) on the TWiT Netcast Network!

That’s right! I’m going to be the GizFiz “Chatroom Celebrity of the Week”. I was originally supposed to appear on the program back in September but, unfortunately, schedule changes at the network prevented it. Fortunately, Leo Laporte (the Chief TWiT) is back from his trip to London and all the shows are back to their regular schedules. Actually, I shouldn’t say that, since Padre’s Corner will actually be pre-recorded this week.

So what do I plan to talk about on GizFiz this Saturday? Hmm … haven’t really given it much thought. I do plan to show off a few of the USB retro videogame controllers I have sitting around the office, I know that for sure. Other than that, I plan on talking about the upcoming podcast and letting you guys in on just some of the topics I plan to cover in this, the “first season” of Supernatural Science.

Be sure to tune in on October 11 at 5 PM Eastern, live at http://live.twit.tv!
